"It's important to decide what the priorities are for your organization before you embark on waste reduction and prevention efforts. Setting goals or establishing targets to work toward helps guide which strategies you'll employ, helps you measure progress and stay motivated to continuously improve, and can help you justify desired changes to various stakeholder groups (e.g. ""We want to cut waste hauling costs by 25% by 2017."")"
