Abstract
Before you can effectively strive for improvement in any endeavor, it’s important to assess what you’re already doing. This helps identify and prioritize areas of your operation as you consider how to improve. Also, if you have any metrics associated with current efforts (e.g. lbs. of food donated to food banks per year, lbs. of waste hauled from your school annually, etc.), gathering that information will make it easier to later quantify the impacts of improvements made during the Challenge period.
