Abstract

Everyday scientist become closer to understanding the intricacies of the universe. Cells are the fundamental unit of life, as we learn more, we realize how little we truly know about these complex organisms. It is critical to develop a thorough understanding of how cells work, so we can better combat the problems of human health. For instance, the physical environment and biomechanics of cancer cells can affect how a tumor grows. Growing cells in a predetermined pattern, such as a star, allows us to see how spatial constraints affect cell growth and alignment. Just as studying stars in space help us develop a deeper appreciate of the universe and life on earth, these star patterned stamps can help us understand the inner working of the human body.
